How do battle royale outright odds work?

Turn the odds into a chance with 1 ÷ odds. A duo at 8.0 implies 12.5%. In a lobby of 50 duos the average is 2%, so the price only makes sense if you rate that duo several times above average.

What is a head-to-head bet in Fortnite?

You pick which of two teams finishes higher on the final leaderboard. It ignores the rest of the lobby, which makes it easier to judge than an outright.

Fortnite World Cup betting: the 2019 event, FNCS Globals and every champion

The Fortnite World Cup was played once, from 26 to 28 July 2019 at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, with $30 million in prize money across its events. Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf won the solo final and $3 million; Nyhrox and Aqua won the duos. Epic cancelled the 2020 edition because of COVID-19 and has not brought it back.

Fortnite's world champions are now crowned at the FNCS Global Championship. SwizzY and Pixie won the 2026 edition in Antwerp on 26–27 September; SwizzY is the first player to win Globals twice. Below: how battle royale betting works, the example odds maths and every champion since 2019.

Add up 1 ÷ odds for every runner. Here the sum is 113.2%, so the book keeps about 11.7% of outright stakes on average.

What it means: outrights suit a strong view on one team. The names show how the table works; they are not predictions. A favourite at 7.0 implies about 14%, far above the average share of a big lobby.
