Overwatch betting 2026: OWCS markets, series maths and the best sites

Pro Overwatch is played in the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS), which replaced the Overwatch League from 2024. Matches are first to three maps, rotating through Control, Hybrid, Flashpoint, Push and Escort, and grand finals are first to four.

Bookmakers mostly offer match winner, map handicap, total maps and correct score. This page explains each one, works out how series length changes the favourite's chance, and lists the bookmakers we rank for Overwatch.

Short answer

How does Overwatch betting work?

You bet on the match, the number of maps or the exact score. OWCS matches are first to three maps, which works like a best-of-five: a team with a 60% chance per map wins 68% of the time. In our example the match winner margin runs from 4.6% to 7.5%.

The Overwatch markets most bookmakers offer, with example odds for a first-to-3 match at one site.

If each map is independent, first to 3 maps is p³ × (10 − 15p + 6p²). Move the slider to see the effect.

A team that wins 60% of maps wins a best-of-three 64.8% of the time and a best-of-five 68.3%. The BO3 adds 4.8 points over a BO1. With a 5.0% margin a bookmaker would offer about 1.47 on the BO3. Maps are treated as independent.

Each row is one bookmaker's price on the same example match. Add 1 ÷ odds for both sides: the amount over 100% is the margin.
