Esports · Street Fighter
Street Fighter 6 betting is 1v1 betting on sets: short series of games, first to two or first to three, inside double-elimination brackets. Short sets make upsets common, and the bracket reset gives the losers-side player a steep climb in the grand final. This page explains the markets, works through both effects with numbers and lists the bookmakers that price Street Fighter 6.
Evo, Evo 2026 recap.
Short answer
You bet on a 1v1 set, usually first to two games, or first to three in top 8. A player who wins 60% of games wins a first-to-three set about 68% of the time. In a grand final the losers-side player must win two sets in a row, which halves their chance at even odds.
How it works
First to two in pools, first to three in top 8 at most majors. Shorter sets mean more upsets.
In the grand final the winners-side player needs one set; the losers-side player needs two.
Character choice and counter-picks between games can swing a set more than overall rankings suggest.
Few bookmakers price fighting games, so compare what is available and set a deposit limit first.
Markets Example odds
Common Street Fighter 6 markets, what they pay on and what they cost. Example odds for MenaRD vs Shigematsu, first to three games.
| Market | You bet on | Example odds | Margin | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Set winner | Who wins the set. | 1.65 / 2.20 | 5.7% | the main market, and often the only one offered. |

| Total games | Over or under 3.5 games in a first-to-three set. | 1.80 / 1.92 | 7.1% | a bet on how close the set is. |
| Correct score | Exact set result, e.g. 3–1. | [varies] | [varies] | six outcomes; the widest margin. |
| Tournament winner | Who wins the whole bracket. | [varies] | [varies] | priced before the event; double elimination helps the favourite. |

A losers-side player at 60% per game still wins the title less than half the time. They need two first-to-three sets in a row: 68.3% × 68.3% = 46.6%.

|---|---|---|---|

Glossary
You bet on one player against another, usually on who wins the set. Sets are first to two games in early rounds and first to three games in top 8 at most major events. A game is won by taking two rounds.
Sets are short. A player who wins 60% of games wins a first-to-two set about 65% of the time, so the underdog takes about one set in three. Character matchups and counter-picks between games add more variance.
At least 18 at every bookmaker we list, and 21 in some countries. Bookmakers check ID before paying out.
Major fighting game events use double elimination. The player who comes through the losers bracket must beat the winners-side player in two sets in a row: winning the first set only resets the bracket. At an even 50% per set, the losers-side player wins the title 25% of the time.
The player must win 3–0 or 3–1. A 3–2 win loses the bet, so it pays more than backing the set winner.
MenaRD won Evo 2026 in Las Vegas (26–28 June 2026), beating Shigematsu in the grand final. It was his fourth Evo title (Evo).
Capcom's season-ending Street Fighter 6 championship. Capcom Cup 12 was held at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo in March 2026 with $1,000,000 for the winner.
