The Call of Duty League (CDL) is Activision's franchised league with 12 city-based teams. The 2026 season had four Majors and two online Minors, and FaZe Vegas beat OpTic Texas 5–2 in the Championship final to become world champions.
Regular CDL matches are best-of-five maps across Hardpoint, Search & Destroy and, since November 2025, Overload in place of Control. The Championship final is first to five maps. Below: what that means for odds, the 2026 Majors and every CDL champion since 2020.

Short answer
Bookmakers that cover the CDL offer a series winner, map handicaps, total maps and often a correct-score market. Each map is a different mode, so a team strong in Hardpoint but weak in Search & Destroy can be worth backing on single maps rather than the series. The longer the series, the more it favours the better team: at 60% per map a team wins about 68% of best-of-five series and about 73% of first-to-five finals.
2026 season
OpTic Texas reached every 2026 Major final and the Champs final. They lost the first three Major finals, won Major 4 and then lost Champs 5–2 to FaZe Vegas.

Outright vs match
Pick the winner of the event before or during it. Outrights on a Major or on Champs settle after a short bracket, so the money is tied up for days rather than months.
So what: bigger payout but a bigger margin, and your stake is locked until the trophy is lifted.
Pick the winner of one series. Matches are best-of-five maps, one mode per map.
So what: the lowest margin on most books, and you can react to form, patches and roster news.
Correct series score, map handicap, total maps and mode-specific markets such as a Search & Destroy map winner.
So what: thin markets with wide margins; compare two or three books before you bet.

Title chance = chance per series to the power of the series still to win. With 3 series left the chance is 21.6%, fair odds 4.63. Each series win removes one factor.
What it means: a price of 3.70 before the playoffs only pays if the team wins every series, so compare it with backing the team series by series.
The Championship final is first to five maps, longer than a normal best-of-five, so it favours the stronger team more.

FaZe and OpTic Texas have two titles each. FaZe won in 2021 as Atlanta FaZe and in 2026 as FaZe Vegas; every final has been first to five maps.

More maps mean less luck. A team that wins 60% of maps wins about 68.3% of best-of-five series and about 73.3% of first-to-five series.
A head start or deficit in maps. Backing a team at -1.5 maps means it must win the series by at least two maps, for example 3–1 or 3–0 in a best-of-five.
