Our responsible gaming policyEsports · Free Fire
Free Fire is Garena's mobile battle royale. Its pro events, led by the Free Fire World Series (FFWS), put 12 teams in each lobby and rank them on placement points plus one point per kill. Bookmakers that cover it offer match winner (Booyah), top-N, head-to-head and tournament winner markets.
Below: how the points system works and why kills can outweigh a win, what each market means, and the bookmakers we rank. Few sites cover Free Fire, so check the market before you deposit.

Short answer
You bet on a team to win a match (a Booyah), to finish in the top N, to beat one named rival or to top the event's points table. Events are decided on points: 12 for a Booyah plus one per kill, so a fourth place with 12 kills (19 points) is worth almost as much as a win with 8 kills (20 points).
Markets Example odds
Example odds at one site for the two-way Free Fire markets. A Booyah market lists all 12 teams, so its margin is spread over 12 prices.
| Market | You bet on | Example odds | Margin | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Head-to-head | Which of two named teams finishes higher in one match. | 1.87 / 1.87 | 6.5% | the cheapest market in the example. |
| Top 3 finish | A named team finishes in the top three, yes or no. | 2.29 / 1.53 | 8.3% | a shorter way to back a strong team. |
| Tournament winner | Which team tops the points table after all matches. | [varies] | [varies] | prices move after every match day. |

Points system
Kills are worth almost as much as placement. A Booyah is 12 points, the same as 12 kills. Teams that fight often can top the table without many match wins, which matters for tournament winner bets.
| Placement in a match | Placement points |
|---|---|
| 1st (Booyah) | 12 |
| 2nd | 9 |
| 3rd | 8 |
| 4th | 7 |
| 5th | 6 |
| 6th | 5 |
| 7th | 4 |
| 8th | 3 |
| 9th | 2 |
| 10th | 1 |
| 11th–12th | 0 |

Glossary
Yes, at bookmakers that cover mobile esports, mostly for the FFWS and the Esports World Cup. Few of the sites we rank list Free Fire every week, so check the market list first.
Buriram United Esports from Thailand won the battle royale title at the FFWS Global Finals 2025 in Jakarta, which ended on 15 November 2025.
The Free Fire event runs from 15 to 18 July 2026 in Riyadh.
Each match gives placement points (12 for first down to 1 for tenth, none for 11th and 12th) plus one point per kill. Points are added up over all matches of the stage.
Twelve teams play every match, so even a strong team wins only a small share. The bookmaker's margin is spread over all 12 prices, which makes it larger than on a head-to-head.
