The PGL Copenhagen Major, the first Major for Counter-Strike 2, is set to begin in March. This prestigious Danish tournament will feature teams from around the globe, including the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.
While the European and American regions will have 32 and 16 teams respectively competing for a spot in the Major, the Asia-Pacific RMR will have only eight teams vying for qualification. The top two teams from this region will proceed to the Opening Stage of the Major.
The eight teams will participate in a double-elimination bracket, with the winners of the upper and lower brackets securing their tickets to Copenhagen in mid-March. All matches will be best-of-three.
The two qualifiers from the Asia-Pacific RMR will be seeded alongside the European and American qualifiers in the Opening Stage of the Major.
The Asia-Pacific RMR for the PGL Copenhagen Major will commence on February 26. The top two teams from this RMR will qualify for the Major, while the remaining teams will be eliminated.
The schedule for the Asia-Pacific RMR is yet to be determined. Stay tuned for updates.
The Asia-Pacific RMR will be broadcasted live on Twitch through the main PGL channel. Additionally, community broadcasters will also stream the qualifiers on their individual Twitch channels.
