After a disappointing performance at the LoL 2023 World Championship with MAD Lions, support player Hylissang has found a new home in the LEC for the 2024 season. He will be joining Team Vitality, according to reports.
Hylissang had been with MAD Lions for one year before deciding to leave the organization. It was rumored that MAD allowed their players to explore other options after their elimination from Worlds 2023. Verbal agreements with the Spanish bot lane of Supa and Alvaro further confirmed Hylissang's departure.
Despite being 28 years old, Hylissang has only played for three other organizations before joining Team Vitality. He spent four years with Unicorns of Love and five years with Fnatic. His time with MAD Lions was the shortest so far.
With Hylissang joining as the support player, Team Vitality still needs to fill the mid lane and ADC positions. The current lineup for the 2024 season includes:
