If you're ready to take on the dead, here's how to find and beat the Ghost Ship in Skull and Bones.
Finding the Ghost Ship in Skull and Bones is similar to finding the sea monster. Look for a Spectral Voyages Strange Sighting marker on the map. It appears randomly as a white circle with a black map. Once you spot the marker, sail to it and pick up the Oceans Apart contract. Keep in mind that you'll need a rank eight ship, such as a Padewakang, at the very least. The contract is usually found at The Oubliette outpost, southwest of Saint-Anne.
The Ghost Ship, known as Maangodin, is a challenging boss fight. At the beginning of the fight, the ship is immune to damage. To make it vulnerable, attack its weak spots. Once vulnerable, keep firing at it to maintain its vulnerability throughout the fight.
Maangodin has several powerful attacks, including a rocket barrage and a blue flamethrower at the front. Stay mobile and avoid getting in front of the ship to avoid becoming an easy target for the ghosts.
If you manage to defeat the Ghost Ship, return to The Oubliette to collect your reward. Completing the contract will give you 1,000 Silver, but the most valuable items are the drops from the boss—Ethereal Ashes and Vengeful Essence.
Ethereal Ashes can be used to purchase exclusive items from the Mysterious Rogue vendor at The Oubliette. Collect 75 of them to obtain a Blue Specter fire weapon, which allows your ship to emit blue flames like the Maangodin.
