Unlocking Gold Keys and Chests in Granblue Fantasy Relink

In Granblue Fantasy Relink, certain chests can only be unlocked with matching keys. One type of key you can find is the Gold Key. However, obtaining Gold Keys can be a bit challenging as it requires completing a specific Side Quest.

Unlocking the Gold Key

To unlock the Gold Key, you need to progress through Chapter 8 in the Granblue Fantasy Relink story. Once you reach this point, you will unlock the Out of Serpentine Spite Side Quest. This quest can be obtained from an NPC called the Adventurer's Partner in Seedhollow.

Completing the Side Quest

In the Out of Serpentine Spite Side Quest, you are tasked with defeating a Cobra. It is important to note that the Cobra can poison your party if you are not adequately prepared. To ensure success, make sure your party is well-equipped to handle the challenge.

Easiest Way to Obtain the Gold Key

While there are several ways to meet the requirements of the Side Quest, the simplest method is to complete the Rilla Done Did It quest. This quest can be claimed from the Quest Counter and is of Normal difficulty. By completing this quest, you will obtain the Gold Key quickly and easily.

Using the Gold Key

Once you have obtained the Gold Key, you can use it to unlock any Gold Chest you come across. In Seedhollow, there are at least two Gold Chests located near the docks and the Seedhollow castle gates. These chests can be opened using the Gold Key. Additionally, throughout your journey, you may also come across Silver and Whitewing Keys, which can be used to unlock their corresponding chests.

Remember, obtaining Gold Keys in Granblue Fantasy Relink requires completing the Out of Serpentine Spite Side Quest. By following the recommended method and using the Gold Key wisely, you can unlock valuable rewards hidden within Gold Chests.
