World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery introduced Skill Books and brought back dozens of Runes to scatter across vanilla Azeroth. One of these Runes is the Pain Suppression Rune, which is particularly useful for healers in keeping their party members alive.
To obtain the Pain Suppression Rune in WoW Classic Season of Discovery's second phase, follow these steps:
Collect Graveyard Echoes: Before heading to the Scarlet Monastery, you need to gather four Graveyard Echoes from different locations. These echoes can be obtained by interacting with headstones in the following areas:
Enter the Scarlet Monastery - Library Wing: Once you have all four Graveyard Echoes, venture into the Scarlet Monastery - Library instance.
Interact with the Statues: Inside the Scarlet Monastery - Library, you will encounter four statues that correspond to the Graveyard Echoes you have collected. Interact with the statues in the following order:
Obtain the Memory of a Leader's Betrayal: After interacting with the statues, you will receive the Memory of a Leader's Betrayal in your inventory.
Use the Memory of a Leader's Betrayal: Open your bag and right-click on the Memory of a Leader's Betrayal item to obtain the Pain Suppression Rune.
The Pain Suppression Rune is a Priest Rune that can be engraved on any wearable boots. It is an instant cast spell that provides a brief reduction of 40 percent in all damage taken by a friendly target and increases resistance to Dispel mechanics for eight seconds.
This Rune is a valuable tool for healers as it functions similarly to a Paladin bubble. It allows healers to switch attention to low-health party members while maintaining aggro on the tank or another player, ensuring everyone stays healed and protected.
