Introduction

The Pokémon Go Tour: Sinnoh has arrived, starting with a physical event in Los Angeles that brings players from around the world together for a weekend of Gen IV-themed fun. One of the highlights of this event is the special Spiritomb PokéStops that are spread throughout the surrounding areas, offering players a unique interaction.

Spiritomb PokéStops

While the Pokémon Go Tour: Sinnoh - LA mainly takes place in downtown LA around the Rose Bowl Stadium, Spiritomb PokéStops can be found everywhere from Pasadena to Anaheim. These PokéStops are tied to an event-exclusive Timed Research that allows players to encounter the Forbidden Pokémon outside of Halloween content.

Initially, there were concerns about some of the special PokéStops being located in places like Disneyland, which could limit access. However, Niantic has confirmed that this is intentional, as these locations are where players often gather and are close to public transportation. It is important to note that only a fraction of the available PokéStops need to be located to complete the Timed Research.

Spiritomb PokéStops in Pokémon Go

For the Pokémon Go Tour: Sinnoh - LA, there are a total of 108 Spiritomb PokéStops spread throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County. These spooky spots, labeled with 108 Lost Souls, can be found whether you are in downtown LA or planning a trip to Disneyland with your friends.

Despite the large number of PokéStops, players only need to spin 10 of them to complete the Timed Research. This research is exclusive to players with a Go Tour: Sinnoh - LA ticket, and no map or guide is required to find the rare encounter.

Making Things Easier

If you want to make the process of finding the Spiritomb PokéStops easier, you can use the PoGO Nest community tool. This tool, created by Pokémon Go players, provides an interactive map specifically for the Go Tour: Sinnoh Spiritomb PokéStops. It allows you to track the exact location of each PokéStop using Google and Apple Maps and offers a checklist to mark off each stop as you visit them.

Time Limit

It is important to note that the Spiritomb Timed Research must be completed before Feb. 18 at 8pm local time, which is when the Go Tour: Sinnoh - LA event ends. However, the Road to Sinnoh Special Research will continue until Feb. 25, allowing players more time to complete it.
